Blending: 100% Chardonnay
Wine characteristics: "Personality: Wine of plenitude, bold, rich, warm, tart lemon meringue, vanilla, limestone, solar. A mouth sitting, broad and silky. A Chardonnay of small yield, a vine of 1961 with very small golden berries. A final placed on a limestone base, which crumbles in the mouth and gives us a chalk powder of a rare outfit. The Fournois Mountains is a rare wine, we are the first to have isolated this great terroir. These few hectares are the only ones that touch the vineyard of Rilly la Montagne at its lowest point with a southern exposure. The southern exhibitions in the Grande Montagne de Reims "North" are extremely rare. The terroir gives us here a pure chalk which expresses itself with beauty and roundness thanks to these grapes which take advantage of the heat of the place." ~ Bereche.com
